Our parents took care of us and saw us through each stage of our lives. Now it is our turn. The only problem is that when we were growing up most fathers worked outside the home and the majority of mothers stayed home and took care of the house and the children. As human beings, we can only supervise so many people at one time. Ask to see the menu for the day when you are touring the building.What type of activities are available in the center? Are people just sitting around waiting for something to do? You will want to make sure that your loved will have plenty of socialization and mental stimulation.Not only will a good senior day care offer peace of mind, it will also provide your loved one with the opportunity to socialize.It is difficult not to be able to stay home with your elderly loved ones, but it is nice to know that they can obtain good care while you are away at a facility that is designed just for them.
